We got really great vibrant pillows in Cost Plus. I purchased 3 chaises in the early spring of 2009. They held beautifully. Yes, it took some time for him to put them together but as I said, it was all worth it. It is cheaper to purchase in the winter months as prices tend to go up during the high season. Wheels are as good as new without any whobble to them at the end of the summer.
Besides, at $89 per chaise, I think we got a bargain. We used them every day all summer long, dragging them often from poolside to deck and back. they were pricey, almost as much as we paid for the chases, but the overall look and quality could not be beat. The sliding tray was used every day, since my hubby is lefthanded and I am righthanded, and our little daughter just liked sliding them in and out. My husband is 6'3 and all though he wished it would be just a tet larger, even he was overall quiet happy with the purchase. I highly reccomend this item.

I am very happy with this purhase and want anyone searching to know that. Everything about these chairs says quality and where in the world are you going to find chairs like this for this money.
Many were happy but some were not at all happy. to those that had the red dye run onto their patios, I have had ours outside since getting them, in pouring rain, and not one time has any dye come out of these chairs.
AFTER the fact - purchasing two of the Strathwood chaise lounge chairs I read the reviews. Very solid workmanship and not one thing missing nor were they damaged in shipment.
Also some said had to run to Home Depot for the right screws or tools that were not put into the shipment, we had no problem and it was very easy to put together. Our two chairs are extremely heavy.
Around my area, nowhere. I would recommend these chairs to anyone.
So it has a finish that must be somewhat maintained.Also, its not that long, so for tall people, it may be an issue.For the money seems very worth while, just know what you are getting. Arrived un-damaged. Easy to assemble.But as others have noted-Does not sit straight up.This is not teak. This is not an equivelent to a $300 chaise. But for roughly 150(including a cushion and cover), seems a good deal for a wooden chaise.
All the levels of the seat back are in a fairly prone position. Fairly easy to assemble and is comfortable with a pad which I also purchased. Bought a Strathwood chaise lounge for my porch and it arrived promptly and in good condition. If you want to just bask in the sun or sleep, it is okay but to sit up with your back supported and talk to friends, there is a real problem. It has some design problems, however. The seat will not adjust to sit up fully. My husband modified the chair by placing some stops to hold the back of the seat upright but it is not easy to adjust with the modifications. I am not sure I would buy this product again without a design change.
Which I guess is ok. Two arrived fine, but one had several broken parts so BEWARE. I purchased three of these chairs. I would have sent the broken one back, but the chairs are on backorder, so it would have been 3 months till I received a new one.The two that arrive unbroken are great. The packages that arrive when purchasing this product are VERY cumbersome, so it's tough to even sent these back. I did get a 15% discount from Amazon when I informed that I received broken parts. They are a little narrow, which many people might have a problem with - so again, beware. But overall, the chairs are beautiful and for the price, they are a smoking deal.
